The Melbourne University Psychology Association (MUPA) supports accessible education and seeks to support students across their university journey, including their studies.
Peer-Assisted Learning Seminars (PALS) - Mid-Semester Break and SWOTVAC
A large part of the association’s contribution to accessible education is its flagship Peer-Assisted Learning Seminars (PALS). The PALS sessions consist of two touch-points, whereby high-performing past students are screened by MUPA to run intensive revision sessions. These sessions are tailored by these past students to help students prepare for their exams and assignments, free of charge. These sessions in recent years have been conducted online to increase accessibility, however this decision is revisited every semester to ensure the highest quality seminars are being delivered possible.
MUPA’s Peer Assisted Learning Seminars (PALS) guides fellow students through interactive study sessions. Expect concise content summaries, active recall techniques, and collaborative learning to help you feel prepared for your exams.
At the MRCC, students had the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges, hone their research and analytical skills, and build leadership experience. Through exclusive mentoring sessions and an insightful seminar with an industry professional, this immersive learning experience proved to be truly invaluable.
